Julia A. ARMSTRONG, wife of the late John Armstrong, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louisa Harris, a quarter of a mile east of Mace from dropsy. The deceased was one of the pioneers of this county her parents coming here a short time before her birth. She was the daughter of Ephraim and Esta (sic) Hunt and was born Feb 6, 1836. The deceased leaves 6 sons, James, Albert, Frank and Ora, all of Mace; Charles of Advance and Azba of Lebanon and one daughter, Mrs. Louisa Harris of near Mace, with whom she made her home. She also leaves 5 brothers, John, Samuel and Wesley Hunt of this city; Thomas Hunt of near New ross and Silas Hunt of Topeka, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Phoebe Moody of Mace. The funeral will be held fromt he Methodist Church at Mace, of which church Mrs. Armstrong was a member at 2:30 o'clock Thursday. - typed by kbz

Mrs. Julia A. Armstrong died at 6 o'clock this mroning at the home of her daughter, east of Mace. Mrs. Armstrong was aged 72 years 3 months 14 days. Her death was due to dropsy. She was born in Montgomery County and had lived in this county all of her life. She leaves six sons: James and Albert of Mace; Charles of Advance; Frank of Mace; Elisha of Lebanon and Ora of Mace; one daughter, Mrs. Louisa Harris at whose whom near Mace she died; five brothers, John, Samuel and Wesley Huntall of this city; Thomas Hunt of New Ross and Silas of Topeka, Kas. and one sister, Mrs. Phoebe Woody (sic). She was the wife of the late John Armstrong. She was a member of the Methodist Church. The funeral will be held at the home of the daughter, near Mace Thursday at 2:30 p.m. - typed by kbz
