Mace, June 25 -- Charles Armstrong, 71, former resident of this community died suddenly Saturday at his home in South Bend. Death was due to heart trouble. The body will be brought to Mace to the home of a sister, Mrs. AJ Harris, between here and Linnsburg, where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Bailey will be in charge. Burial will be in the Mace K of P Cemetery. The survivors include two sons, Manson Armstrong of Flint, Michigan and Olin Armstrong, of Everett, Michigan; a daughter, Miss Lois Davis of South Bend, a brother, Esba Armstrong, of Lebanon and a sister, Mrs. Harris. - kbz

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Charles E. Armstrong who passed away at his home in South Bend Saturday evening. Rev. Bailey of Suth Bend and Rev. Gardner were in charge of the services which were held at Mace ME Church. Burial was in Mace K of P cemetery. A quartet composed of Mrs. Joe Pattison, Mrs. Wallace Fletcher, Mrs. Floyd Crumm, Edgar Hardaway accompanied by Mrs. OC Edwards at the piano sang In the Garden and Saved by Grace. Pall bearers were Henry Armstrong, William Armstrong, John Harris, Charlie Galloway, John Clahan and Ralph Jarvis. Flower bearers were Shirley Aileen Armstrong, Mary Ellen Armstrong, Vivian Armstrong, Mary Martha Galey, Betty Fletcher, Julia Jarvis, Margaret Shelton and Mildred Hayes. - kbz
