New Market, Oct 24-- James H. Armantrout, prominent banker of New Market died at his home here Monday afternoon. Mr. Armantrout's death came suddenly the well known man being stricken with heart disease at 1:15 o'clock. He lived only a few minutes after he was stricken. The deceased has been one of the leaders in this community for many years and has always taken an active interest in the welfare of New Market. Several years ago he founded the state bank here. Mr. Armantrout has always been president of this institution. His death comes as a great shock to his many friends here and throughout the county. Mr. Armantrout was __ years of age and a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. The wife preceded him in death in 1914. Two children survive: Albert A. Armantrout and Mrs. Will Schwindler. Mr. Armantrout was prominently identified with business interests over the county being connected with a number of Crawfordsville institutions. Funeral services will be held Wednesday from the home at 1:30 o'clock. The service will be in charge of the Rev. JB Johnson, pastor of the Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment will be made in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. - kbz
