Waynetown, Dec 13 - Word was received here Monday of the death of Charles Armantrout of Lafayette. Mr. Armantrout was the son of Simon & Hannah Blackford Armantrout, pioneer residents of this city. He lived in or near Waynetown during his childhood and after his marriage to Miss Elizabeth Gilkey for a number of years moved with his family to Lafayette where he died at 11 pm. Sunday following a long illness from heart trouble. He is survived by the widow, one son, Simon Armantrout and 3 daughtesr, Mrs. Hannah Darnell, Mrs. Bessie SImpson and Mrs. Hazel Gancey and 8 grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Elwood Best of Lafayette is the only surviving member. Funeral services will be conducted from the Christian Church at this place Wednesday at 2 o'clock and interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. -- kbz - via Proctor's :)
