Fred A. Anglin, 55, Montgomery County native and longtime construction employee died on arrival early Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. His death was attributed to a heart attack. The deceased moved to Lafayette from Crawfordsville 14 years ago and at the time of his death resided on Rt 13. He had been employed by Fauber Construction Co of Lafayette for the last 32 years. A veteran of WWII he served with the Army Corps of ENgineers in the European Theater. Born Aug 30, 1913 he was the son of Charles A. and Elva L. Anglin. He married Feb 9, 1945 to Stella Palmer who survivors. Other survivors include two daughters, Terri Anglin who lives at home and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Linden; his mother of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Don of Naples, FL and Kenneth of Crawfordsville; six sisters: Della Weir, Vera Allison, Darlene Clark, Louise Patton and Edith Hutchinson all of Crawfordsville and Dorothy Gross of Lafayette; two half-brothers, Joe of Crawfordsville and Ralph of Clarks Hill, a half sister, Pearl Sachs of Indianapolis and a grandson, Brian Brown. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial in New Richmond cemetery. - kbz
