John Jacob (Jake) Andrew, age about 85, former Crawfordsville resident, died Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. R. Marxson, in Detroit. For a number of years Mr. Andrew was employed at the Crawford Hotel and prior to that time was employed at the Country Club. He came here from Attica. He was the son of John J. and Mary Andrew. Surviving are two sons, Robert Andrew of Encino, Calif. and Robert H. Andrew of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. F. R. Marxson of Detroit; and five grandchildren, including Richard Andrew of Crawfordsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena, a number of years ago. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCloud Funeral Home here with Rev. Paul E. Millon in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday. - kbz
