Nellie Charlotte Boyland, wife of Ernest R. Anderson and eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. S.N. Boyland of Browns Valley, died at her home in Zionsville, June 1, after a long illness of consumption. She was born August 5, 1870 and was married to Ernest Anderson at her home at Browns Valley June 29, 1899. Mr. & Mrs. Anderson went to Westfield after their marriage. and made their home there until in Nov 1906 when they moved to Zionsville. Two winters were spent in the South with the hope that Mrs. Anderson might regain her health. She was taken to Westfield, June 2 where after a brief funeral service. conducted by the Rev. Mr. Newlin of Noblesville at the home of Mr. & Mrs. JB Anderson, she was interred in the Westfield Cemetery. She leaves a host of friends to whom she was endeared herself by her loveable disposition and cheerful patience during her long illness; a husband, father, mother, 3 sisters and 3 brothers to mourn her loss. - kbz
