Mrs. Martha Anderson, 51, daughter of Mrs. Lala Haines of 711 S. Water St., and the late Burt Haines, died Tuesday in her home at Des Plaines, Ill., after a short illness. Born in 1923 at Crawfordsville, she was graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1941. Survivors include the husband, Carl; two daughters, Mrs. James Lees and Miss Susan Diane Anderson; a brother, Dr. W. J. Haines, who is a trustee of Wabash College; a niece; two nephews, and several aunts and uncles. Burial will be at Des Plaines on Thursday. – jlr
