Bertha ANDERSON, 61, died of a heart attack Monday at Culver Hospital at 3:40 a.m. She had been ill for five days. Born Dec 21 in Thorntown, the daughter of David and Anna Jacoby Black. She was married to Luther B. Anderson in Indianapolis Sept 16, 1914. Survivors include the husband and three sons, Edgar of Indianapolis; John of Bainbridge and Frank of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel K. Calvert of Waveland; Mrs. Helen Boiler of Rockville; Mrs. Betty J. Linn of Ft. Meade, Md and Mrs. Nellie France of Waveland; one sister, Mamie Cox of Darlington; four brothers, Joe of Oregon; Edgar, Elmer and Clarence of Crawfordsville; and 24 grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Garfield Christian Church. Funeral services were held in Waveland in charge of the Rev. Grover C. DeNeal and burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery. - kbz
