George Ammerman, 66, a native of the Alamo community, died at his home on the Madison Road, south of Indianapolis, Sunday afternoon at 3:35 o'clock of a complication of diseases. Mr. Ammerman, a contractor, was very well known in the Alamo and Waynetown vicinities. He was born at Alamo and spent many years of his life there. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Byron at home and Fred of Whiteland; one daughter, Doris Vaught at home, one sister, Mrs. Stella Fink of Crawfordsville and two brothers, Wilfred Ammerman of Centralia, Okla and Elbert of Vaneta, Okla. The funeral will be held from the JC Wilson Funeral Home at 1230 Prospect Street, Indianapolis Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock. The body will then be brought to Waynetown for burial sometime between 10 and 11 o'clock. - kbz
