Died, near Boston Store, on Thursday, the 12th inst., little daughter of Mr. James Ames. Vinah was a bright eyed little maiden of perhaps seven summers, active and robust until a short time before her death. She was attacked on Wednesday with that dreadful disease diphtheria, which only required until Thursday to prove fatal. Her funeral was preached on Friday by Rev. Joel Thomas, after which her little body was placed in the tomb to await the coming of Jesus to take unto himself the little children who make up his jewels.
