Kingman, March 20, 1949 -- Oliver ALWARD, 74, died at a nursing home at Bedford 8 a.m. Saturday of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was formerly a school teacher here before moving to Linton. He was b. May 2, 1875 near Wallace, the s/o Louis and Elizabeth Campbell Alward (sic). He married Opal Rhoder who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Arthur Alward of Wallace and Elmer Alward of Kingman. The funeral will be held at the family residence at Linton at 2 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
