Allen – On the 5th of November at 5 o’clock a.m. of pulmonary disease, Polina wife of Albert Allen (died) in the 26th year of her age. The deceased was an amiable and loving wife, and bore her sufferings with a Christian fortitude and resignation, comforted by the Divine assurance that “this mortal must put on immortality,” and that “as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.” She leaves an affectionate husband, a little daughter and large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. - kbz
