Otterbein, Ind., Dec. 17—John Allen, aged 10, was shot and killed yesterday by his brother, Benjamin, aged 19. The family was sitting about the kitchen fire, Ben having in his hand a Flobert rifle. The weapon was accidentally discharged, the ball striking John in the bowels. He lived an hour after the tragedy. They are sons of Thomas Allen, a dairyman. The brother is prostrated by the terrible accident. -s
