Allen - Frances Sanders

Frances Adair Allen, died on Saturday March 1 at 12:10 p.m. at the Regency Place of Lafayette. She was a life resident of Montgomery County and was a 30-year retiree of RR Donnelley Company of Crawfordsville. She attended Waynetown school was a member of the Methodist Church and lifetime member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was born in Waynetown to George and Lucille Johnson Sanders. Her mother passed away at an early age and she was reared by her grandparents, Albert and Sara Eskew Johnson Harland. She married Clinton H. Allen ini 1935 at Rockville and they lived in the Elmdale-Wingate community for 53 years, then lived at Crawfordsville after her husband's death in 1988. Two sisters, Albert Harwood and Virginia Harper was deceased. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and gr. gr. grandmother and was extremely proud of her 12, 5th generation great great grandchildren. Survivors include sons: C Edward (Marilyn) Allen of Crawfordsville and James D (JoAnn) Allen of Lafayette. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and five nieces and seven nephews. The service for Frances Allen will be at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, March 7 at 2 p.m. with Minister Larry Delks. Visitation noon - 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown.
