Arista "Risty" Allen, 71, of 514 E. Jefferson St, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in his residence. Mr. Allen mad ehis living as a semi-trailer drive. He attended school at Grante Corner in Parke County. He was born July 2, 1920 in Parke County to Dafford Arnett and Abbie Simmons Allen. He is survived by a son, Rusty L of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Brian (Donna) Bullerdick of Boynton Beach, Fla and Brenda Stadler of Ladoga; two brothers, Gerald and Bernard both of Crawfordsville; a sister, Geraldine Ingersol of Crawfordsville and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Velma Keesling officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
