ALLEN, Elizabeth Combs - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

MULBERRY- Mrs. Elizabeth (Combs) Allen, 74, formerly of Mulberry, died in her home in Orange, Calif., after a long illness.

She was the wife of the Rev. W. E. Allen, a retired Lutheran minister who formerly was pastor of Colburn, St. John and Darlington Churches, after which he was assigned to Ebenezer Church, Indianapolis, where he served 11 years, during which a new church was built. The couple then retired to California.

Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. William Drewe of Tustin, Calif.; a brother, William Combs of Mulberry and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Clapper of Mulberry and Mrs. Martha Robinson, a teacher in Turkey.

Funeral services will be at Indianapolis and interment in Fair Haven Cemetery, Mulberry. – thanks to Lena
