Mattie, wife of Grant Alexander, died Tuesday morning at 5 o’clock of heart trouble. A husband and two children are bereft of a wife and mother’s love and counsel. Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Thursday afternoon, Rev. H. C. Weston, pastor of the M. E. Church, and Elder A. L. Crim, pastor of the Christian Church, conducting the services, assisted by the Rathbone Sisters of Ashland Temple, of which society Mrs. Alexander was a faithful member. Mrs. Grant Alexander died Tuesday of last week and was buried at New Richmond, and Rev. Crim delivered the funeral sermon. The Rathbone Sisters conducted the burial services. -s
