She was born April 20, 1909 at Scottland, Ill to Riley A. and Cecil Southard Park. She married Charles Alexander on May 10, 1930 at Charleston Ill. He died Dec 28, 1988.
Fleeta L. Alexander, 93, Crawfordsville died 12 p.m. Wednesday in Williamsburg Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Alexander was a school teacher at Coal County schools in Illinois. In her early years, she attended church and taught Sunday School at Waynetown and was active in Parent Teachers Association, Dairymens League and the Grange. She was a Chrisman Ill HS graduate and a graduate of Eastern Illinois Teachers College.

Survivors include three sons: Herbert, Endicott, NY; the Rev. Charles W. Alexander, Sinclairville, NY and Robert, Bethel Park, PA; five daughters, Mildred Bennett, Sebring Fla; Maxine Pettit, Crawfordsville; Virginia Richardson, Frewsburg, NY; Helen Irene Alexander, Takoma Park MD and Mary Westmoreland, Hilton Head Island, SC; 19 grandchildrenand 18 great grandchildren. A sister, Louise Miller, is deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S Indiana 25, Waynetown with the family officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services. - kbz
