ALEXANDER, Margaret M. Salman - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Crawfordsville – Mrs. Margaret M. Salman Alexander, 79, a homemaker of Rt 3, Crawfordsville died 11 p.m. Wednesday in Grand Rapids, Mich. She had been in failing health several years and was staying with her daughter, Mary Alice Paxton. Born Nov 14, 1906 in Benton County, she was a 1924 graduate of Freeland Park HS. Her marriage was June 16, 1931 to Archie “Jack” Alexander II in Lebanon. They farmed prior to his death in 1973.  Mrs. Alexander was a member of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, Crawfordsville. Surviving with the daughter, Mary Alice Paxton of Grand Rapids are two sons, Arch Alexander of Lafayette and John Alexander of Old Town, Maine.  Service and burial will be Monday in Crawfordsville.
