Linden June 27 -- Harold B. ALEXANDER, 53, died in an ambulance en route to Culver Hospital Monday night. Police said he slashed his throat in the Linden Hotel. Alexander moved here from New Richmond about two weeks ago. He was found dead in his room by Ruben Troxel, another occupant of the hotel and Mrs. Ann Clark, owner. Mrs. Clark and her husband, Hobart bought the hotel Saturday. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bayless Alexander of New Richmond, Mr. Alexander was born Dec 29, 1895 near New Richmond. He was a veteran of WWI and during WWII served with the Canadian Armed Forces with the rating of Staff Sgt. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. WA Wing of California and Mrs. Oscar Swank of Indianapolis and two brothers, Fred Alexander of West Lafayette and RR Alexander of Pasadena, Cal. The body was brought to the king Funeral Home, Linden.

Linden, June 28 -- Funeral services for Harold B. ALEXANDER, 53, who died in an ambulance on route to Culver Hospital Monday night will be at the King Funeral Home here (Linden) Thursday at 2 p.m. with burial in New Richmond Cemetery, Rev. DE Schenck in charge.
