Source: Lafayette Journal and Courier, Saturday August 19, 1922

Tillman E. Albright, 52 years old, widely known citizen of Crawfordsville, died of complication of diseases Friday evening at 6:50 o'clock after an illness of several months.  Mr. Albright had been in a critical condition for several days.  He was a substantial citizen and had made large acquaintance through his proprietorship of the Albright Auto company.

Mr. Albright was born in Lafayette on August 10, 1870, the son of John and Theresa Albright.  His mother survives.  In 1891 he was married and by that union one child, Fred, was born, who with his wife, Mrs. Dora Albright, survive.  Two sisters, Mrs. Claude Williams and Mrs. Nettie Wray, also survive.

Mr. Albright was one of the first, if not the first automobile dealer in Crawfordsville, and owned one of the first automobiles in this city.  Before engaging in the automobile business he conducted a bakery business and for thirty years had been identified with Crawfordsville business life.
