Waynetown – Oscar Alva Adams, farmer near Waynetown for more than 20 years died early Friday morning at Culver Hospital following an illness of one week. A cerebral hemorrhage was the cause of his death. Mr. Adams was born Oct 19, 1883 in Danville Ill the son of L. Perry and Martha Current Adams.  He was married March 2, 1904 to Jessie V. Linne in Danville where she also resided at that time, Mrs. Adams preceded her in husband in death in October 1954.  Mr. and Mrs. Adams came to Indiana from Illinois in 1914 and resided near Covington. They came in the Waynetown Community in 1932.  Mr. Adams was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and a member of the church’s Board of Trustees.  Survivors include two sons, howard V. Adams, Rt 1 and Victor C. Adams Rt 2 both of Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille V. Frame of Indianapolis; a brother, Henry Adams of Sterling; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Thomas of Tucson, Ax; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with burial at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour before the service. Friends may call at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home.
