Howard V. Adams, 100, Crawfordsville died 3:15 p.m. Wednesday (March 15, 2006) in Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Mr. Adams was a farmer, mechanic and owner of Waynetown Radiator Shop. His memberships included Waynetown Baptist Church where he was head usher and previously a deacon. He was born at Danville, Ill to Oscar Alva Adams and Jessie Viola Linne. He attended Covington schools. On Nov 16, 1929 he married Flowerina Poppaw. She died Oct 15, 2004. Survivors include one son, Gordon H (Diane) Adams; one daughter, Beverly (David) Stephens; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three stepgreatgrandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Sunday in Waynetown Masonic cemetery. Friends may visit 4-8 Saturday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Memorial contributions may be made to Waynetown Baptist Church. – kbz
