Flowerina Boone Avis Adams, 92, Waynetown died 10:30 a.m. Friday (Oct 15) in her residence. Mrs. Adams was a nurse aid at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville for 10 years. She also helped her husband farm. She was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and attended Manual HS. She was born May 23, 1912 at Johnson County to Elie E. and Effie J. Henderson Poppaw. She married Howard V. Adams, Waynetown Nov 16, 1929. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Gordon H (Diane) Adams, Pensacola, Fla; one daughter, Beverly J (David) Stephens, Wingate; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three step greatgrandchildren. 8 brothers and 3 sisters are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Monday in Waynetown Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown.
