Veedersburg – Mont M. Adair, 69, died Thursday at 5 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Ill. He was born March 7, 1894, at Lebanon and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Adair. He was married to the former Pearl Hershberger of Veedersburg on May 1, 1963.  He was a retired electrician for the Public Service Company of Indiana and was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church. He had lived in Veedersburg since moving from Wabash four years ago.  Survivors besides his wife include Lorraine Adair of Indiana a daughter by a previous marriage and sister, Mrs. Jesse Winecoot of Jolietville. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro by Rev. Harry Hybarger. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Veedersburg — Funeral services for Mont M. Adair, age 69, who died at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, were held Saturday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Crumley Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Hybarger officiated. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery. Born March 7, 1894, at Lebanon, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Adair. He was married on May 1, 1963, to Pearl Hershbarger, who survives. Mr. Adair was a retired electrician, having been employed by the Indiana Public Service Co. He had resided in Veedersburg for the past four years after moving from Wabash. He was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Loraine Adair of Indianapolis; and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Winecoop of Jolietville, Ind. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
