Acton - Milton

Milton Acton, the young man mentioned in yesterday’s Journal as having fallen from an upstairs window Wednesday night, died last evening. He fell fourteen feet, turning a double somersault and striking upon a stone pile beneath, completely crushing his spinal cord. When Dr. Taylor arrived on the scene yesterday afternoon he was in a very low condition being completely paralyzed in many parts of the body so that a needle could be thrust into the flesh without his knowing it. He was perfectly natural, however, to the last and suffered no pain at all. - thanks to S
