Nila S. Abbey, 101, Kissimmee, Fla formerly of Waynetown died 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Donegan Health & Rehabilitation Center, Kissimmee. Mrs. Abbey was a homemaker and seamstress. She attended Wingate schools and Waynetown Baptist Church. Her memberships include Awalim Court 4; Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Hammond; and Narfe Chapter 526, Kissimmee. She was born July 17, 1900 at Waynetown to George Jackson and Clara Gardner Westfall. She married George E. Abbey on May 4, 1927. He died Feb 2, 1979. Survivors include nieces and nephews. A sister, Joanna Lewellen and four brothers, Clarence, Marian, Ora and Leslie Westfall are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown with the Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m Tuesday.
