Lola May, daughter of John H. and Susan Alward died at the home of her parents on Saturday of brain fever. Funeral services were held at the home by Rev JJ Fisher, after which the body was interred at Union Cemetery. She was born in Waveland July 1, 1893. She was a good little girl and her early death is to be deplored. She was a faithful attendant at Sunday School and Junior League where she will be much missed by her schoolmates and her teachers. - kbz
