James A. (Riss) ALWARD died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday in Hart Memorial Nursing Home near Crawfordsville. He was born June 6, 1882 in Waveland, a son of Henry and Rebecca Alward SEITS. He was married to Lena HUXHOLD in Waveland and had lived here most of his life. Surviving are a brother, William Seits of Clayton; a sister, Mrs. May Lamson of Grand Rapids, MI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites Saturday afternoon at Machledt & Servies with interment in Old Union Cemetery. - kbz
