Dallas Goodwin Allhands, 73, a former resident of Montgomery County, died Sunday at Belleview, Wash. Mr. Allhands was a graduate of Wingate HS and attended Indiana University and University of Denver. He was a distributor for Stutz Motor Co and engineer for Amerian Pipe & Steele. He was employed by Colby Crane Co in Seattle, Wash prior to retirement. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Wingate. He was born Dec 25, 1902, at Wingate, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Allhands. He was first married to Mary Neugen. He later married Thelma Dodge, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Hadley of Belleview and Keith of Lewisville, Ind; two brothers, Tyler of Urbana, Ill and Franklin of New Richmond; a sister, Vashtia Nanette of New Richmond; 3 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services for Dallas Allhands, 73, who died Saturday in Bellview, Wash., will be conducted at graveside at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oakland Cemetery near Elmdale. The Rev. Lucian Robinson will officiate. – jlr
