WINGATE- Glen Allen, 46, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home here at 11 a.m. Monday. He was a native of Parke County, born Aug. 26, 1916 to Omer and Opal Myers Allen. He was married twice. His first marriage was in 1947 to Charlotte Wilson of Wingate. He was married Aug. 6, 1962 to Mrs. June Bunn of Apopka, Fla. Mr. Allen lived here most of his life but spent 10 years in Florida, returning in 1961. He was a farmer. Survivors include the wife, June; a daughter, Susan Allen of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Greg Allen of Wingate; a stepson, Joed Wright Bunn of Wingate; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Donna Jan Smith of Wingate and Mrs. Olin Quillen of Florida; the mother, Mrs. Opal Allen of Rt. 6 Crawfordsville; two brothers, Darrell Allen of Elmdale and Loren Allen of Rt. 6 Crawfordsville; five sisters, Mrs. Juanita Andrews and Miss Hazel Allen of Clinton, Mrs. Evelyn Pirtle of Frankfort, Mrs. Lois Patton of Indianapolis and Mrs. Barbara McBee of Rt. 6 Crawfordsville, and several nieces and nephews. His father preceded Mr. Allen in death. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Paul Hubble of Crawfordsville will officiate, and burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace.

Glen Allen, 46, a farmer, died unexpectedly at his home in Wingate at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan 21, 1963. Born Aug 26, 1916 in Parke County he was a son of Omer and Opal Myers Allen. He resided in Wingate most of his life except for 10 years spent in Florida. He returned to Wingate ni 1961. He was married in 1947 to Charlotte Wilson of Wingate. He was married Aug 2, 1962 at Crawfordsville to June Dunn who survives. Also surviving are a duaghter, Susan Allen of Orlando, Fla; a son, Greg of Wingate; a step son Joel Dunn of Wingate; two step daughters, Mrs. Donna Smith of Wingate and Mrs. Olin Quillin of Florida and his mother, Mrs. Opal Allen of Crawfordsville. Also, two brothers, Darrell Allen of ALlendale and loren Allen of Crawfordsville and five sisters, Mrs. Juanita Andrews and Miss Hazel Allen both of Clinton; Mrs. Evelyn Pirtle of Frankfort, Mrs. Lois Patton of Indianapolis and Mrs. Barbara McBee of Crawfordsville.
