Hazel M. Allen, 76, of Rockville died at 5:15 p.m. Friday at Union Hospital, Terre Haute (May 2, 1997). She was retired from Columbia Records of Terre Haute and was a 1939 graduate of Newtown HS. She was born Aug 9, 1920 in Parke County to Omer and Opal Myers Allen. Survivors include 3 sisters: Juanita Andrews of Lebanon, Evelyn Pirtle of Crawforsdville, and Barbara McBee of Linden. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace with the Rev. Lindy Russell officiating. There will be no calling. Burkhart Funeral Home is handling arrangements. - kbz
