Mrs. Hattie {CORY} Allen Mrs. Hattie Allen, aged 23, wife of Stephen Allen, died last Saturday at the home of her father, Charles Cory, on N. Washington St. Mrs. Allen had been sick with congestion of the stomach only 2o 4 3 days, and being a splendid constitution, her death was wholly unexpected until within a short time before her death, which came as a terrible shock to her family and friends. She leaves a husband and one child. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday. -- typed by kbz
