West Lebanon -- Elijah Allen, 72, of this community died at 7:50 p.m. Friday at the Williamsport Home Hospital, where he had been a patient two days. he had been ill for the past year. Mr. Allen who was born Jan 5, 1884 to Josiah and Martha Summers Allen had been a West Lebanon resident for 25 years. He was married Oct 21, 1902 to Mary Zackmire who survives with two sons, Ernest of Linden and Harley and Economy and three daughters, Mrs. Susie Stonebraker of Attica, Mrs. Pearl Wahlfeld of Danville, Ill and Mrs. Onita Clelland of Los Angeles. one brother, Isom Allen of Kingman also survives and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the West Lebanon Federated Church, Rev. William Myers officiating. - kbz
