Andrew Allen, familiarly known as Hick died at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Davis near Browns Valley Tuesday afternoon of cancer at the age of 48 years. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon, Rev. LT Galey officiating. Interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery south of the city. This is the third brother who has passed away in the last twelve months. - kbz

Andrew Allen, better known as Hick, died of cancer at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Davis, near Brown’s Valley, yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock, being forty eight years old. The funeral occurred today at 3 o’clock, Rev. L. T. Galey officiating. Interment was at Presbyterian Cemetery on Terre Haute Road. Mr. Allen was unmarried.
