WAYNETOWN -- Mrs. Verda Alderson, 76, mother of Mrs. Virginia Bell of Waynetown, died Monday afternoon in the Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Ill. Mrs. Alderson, a resident of Danville, formerly lived in Perrysville. She had visited in Waynetown in numerous occasions. Suririving, besides the daughter in Waynetown, is a granddaughter, Mrs. Joanne Deckard of Crawfordsville. Other survivors are daughters, Mrs. Blanche Kinney of Ridge Farm, Ill., Mrs. Bruce Lucas of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. LaVerne Rush of St. Joseph, Ill.; sons, Elbert and Arnold Alderson of Danville, Ill., and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Alderson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Danville EUB Church. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Barricks & Son Funeral Home in Danville.
