Joseph W. Albert, 71, died at 8:35 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. He had been in ill health since Jan. 31. Mr. Albert was born Oct. 4, 1894 in White County. He was first married to Ilene Hoover, who preceded him in death. He was married to Jessie Larrick on Dec. 18, 1965. A resident of 422 E. Market St., he was in the insurance business all his life and was a 30-year employe of the Clements-Smith Agency. Mr. Albert was a member of the Eagles and Elks Lodges of Crawfordsville, the Attica Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Attica. He was a past exalted ruler of the Elks. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Love of Silver Springs, Md.; two sisters, Belle Gossett of Auburn and Mrs. Sib Glutting of Hobart; and a grandson, Dan Love of Silver Springs. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Garden near Lafayette. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after l p.m. Sunday. - jlr
