Fred W. Addler, 62, of 1610 Edgwood St., died Saturday afternoon in Culver Hospital after an illness of two weeks. He was employed at California Pellet Mill and prior to that had worked at Mid States Steel & Wire. A native of Crawfordsville, he was born Jan 26, 1905 to Charles and Elizabeth Delpler Addler. He married August 26, 1926 to Celina Sawyer at Crown Point. Survivors include the wife; five children, Frederick W; Mrs. Irene Elizabeth Cox, Mrs. Rose Marie Caldwell, Jackie and Jerry Addler all of this city; two brothers and a sister, Charles and Raymond and Mrs. Juanita Wray also of Crawfordsville and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Harold and a granddaughter. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Hubble will be the minister with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Monday. - kbz
