Martha Caroline Adams, 88, Waynetown, died 12:05 p.m. Sunday in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She attended school at Linden. She was a Waynetown Baptist Church member and former Rebecah Lodge member. She was born Sept 9, 1912, at Darlington, to Orie and Grace Cook Lewis. She married Victor "Vic" Adams April 16, 1932 at Linden. He died June 6, 1978. Surviving are two daughter, Donna Mae Endicott, Crawfordsville and Bettie Claycomb, Crawfordsville; a brother, Bill Lewis, New Market; four grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Indiana 25, Waynetown, with Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Waynetown Baptist Church.
