BELLMORE – Harvey Lee Adams, 78, an assistant at the Adult Training Center at Rockville, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday in his home here. He was a retired mechanic and grocery store employee. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School and served as Sunday School superintendent for many years. He was also a member of the Parke County Senior Citizens Club. A Parke County native, Mr. Adams was born Dec. 30, 1895, a son of Thomas and Sarah Adams. He was married to Mary Bolen on Oct. 7, 1915. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, John of London, England, and Bert of Rt. 1, Rockville; three daughters, Mrs. Merle (Eileen) Everhart of Benton Harbor, Mich., Mrs. Wilma Millemon of Terre Haute and Mrs. Jack (Doris) Hutchens of Thorntown; a sister; Mrs. Minnie Derr of Rt. 2, Rosedale, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Butler Funeral Home at Rockville with the Rev. Albert Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 3 and 5 and 7 and 9 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
