Mrs. Clara Anna ADAMS, 71, of Waveland died Saturday at 6:40 p.m. in the Swenke nursing home, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Adams had been ill since last December. She was born in Danville, Illinois June 26, 1878, the daughter of James and Sadie Corder Foster and was married to Henry Adams in Danville Dec 22, 1898. Her husband preceded her in death in 1944. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Waveland Christian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Mullens of Benton Harborn, MI; one granddaughter, Patsy Lee of Benton Harbor and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Schraeder of Delphi and Mrs. Dyke of Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm. At the Machledt Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Osborn officiating. Burial was made in Presbyterian Cemetery. - kbz
