The marriage of Miss Elizabeth Clara GHORMLEY, daughter of Mrs. Esther Ghromely, to Sterling DAIGLE, son of Mrs. Mamie Daigle was solemnized Saturday in the rectory of Blessed Sacrament Church, Rev. Thomas M. Cemon, officiated. The bride was attired in rose sheer with white veil trimmed hat and a corsage of orchids. Her only attendant, Miss Mildred Ramey, wore a blue dress with white accessories and pink rose bud corsage. Ted Nabors, a brother-in-law of the groom was best man. A wedding breakfast for ht members of the family followed. The couple will return from a wedding trip to San Antonio to live in their newly built home at 2252 Jean Street. The out of town guests were the Aunt and Cousin of the bride, Mrs. Laila and Miss Barbara Williams of Beaumont, Tx. The bride is a graduate of San Jacinto HS The groom has been employed as a chemist in the Hughes Tool Plant for several years. Mrs. Daigle will be remembered in Waveland as the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Hostetter and Mrs. Clara Ghormley.
