A double wedding ceremony in which the brides, who are sisters, were each other's attendants was celebrated at 2:30 o'clock Sun. afternoon at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Harry Galey, when their daughters Oleiva became the bride of Fred Wenning, Jr. son of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Wenning and Evelyn wedded William Settle. The Rev. ME Baker of the Merris Street ME Church read the service before an improvised altar of palms and pink roses. Mrs. Walter Metzler, pianist, played a medley of songs including "To a Wild Rose," "At Dawning" and "I Love you Truly." The brides were dressed alike in shell pink chiffon taffeta made with basque waists and full skirts touching the floor in back. Pink and blue taffeta bows fell from the shoulder. Their bouquets were made of roses and baby's breath. Mrs. Galey wore blue chiffon and a shoulder corsage. A reception followed the ceremony. After a two weeks' wedding trip at Lake Tippecanoe, the couples will return to Indianapolis for residence. Mr. Wenning and his bride will be at home at 1012 ? Avenue...(sorry the rest is gone)
