A very quiet but pretty wedding rendered all the more impressive by its very simplicity was that of Miss Myrtle Fordyce and Dr. TZ Ball of Waveland, Indiana which occurred at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the bride's home at 1100 Taylor Street, Rev. Seaman assistant pastor of the First Methodist Church performed the ceremony. Only immediate relatives of the two young people were present. The pretty Fordyce home was decorated in Marguerites, sweet peas and nasturtiums for the eventful occasion. The bridal gown was a notable one, a gift of the groom when he was on service in the Philippines. It was woven especially for the bride and one dusky Filipino woman spent 3 months in its weaving all on a little hand machine. It is ecru stripped with yellow silk, filmy and extremely beautiful in texture, Mrs. Ball's traveling dress was a brown tailor-made. The young people left immediately after the ceremony for their future home in Waveland. Topeka Herald, June 26.
