thanks to Harriet Weatherford for sharing this:

Waveland, Dec 26 -- At the elegant country home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Demaree, near here, took place on Christmas Eve at 8 o'clock the pretty wedding of Mr. Roy E. Lough of Marshall and Miss Anna Irene Demaree, in the presence of about 50 invited guests. Miss Mildred Demaree, a cousin of the bride, presided at the piano and rendered a short musical program. She beautifully rendered Hearts and Flowers as a prelude to the Mendelssohn's wedding march, during which the bridal party took their places at the altar, where they were met by the officiating clergyman, Rev. HC Riley of the Waveland Methodist Church, who solemnized the marriage, using the shorter Episcopal ceremony, while Miss Mildred played softly, Garden of Roses. Mr. Fay Lough, brother of the groom, was best man, and Miss Betty, sister of the bride, braidesmaid. Light refreshments were served. Many useful and beautiful presents were received. Mr. Lough is a very succesful and prosperous young farmer of near Marshall, Parke County, and the bride is a very popular young lady of talent and efficency. They will make their future home near Marshall.
