John Barker and Miss Katie Sexton were united in the holy bonds of wedlock in the parlors of the Nutt Hotel last Thursday evening, Rev. GW Switzer performing the ceremony. Immediately after the marriage the happy couple were driven to their future home on Liberty Street where they were tendered a reception and wedding supper by a large number of their friends. --- transcribed by kbz
