Clarks Hill Christian Church was the setting of the Sept 25 wedding of Jana Kathleen Barker and David Wayne Blacker. The Rev. Millard Sivley officiated at the rites with a reception following at the church. Parents of the couple are John and Kathleen Barker ,809 County Rd 500 S and Wayne and Patricia Blacker of Clarks Hill. A graduate of McCutcheon HS and Ivy Tech the bride is a legal secretary for Heide, Gambs and Mucker. Her husband graduate from McCutcheon and ITT technical school. He is an electronic technician with Thorntown Telephone Co. Jackie S. Burtram was maid of honor and best man was Timothy Outcult of Indianapolis. Bridesmaids were Bety Davis and Polly Barker cousin of the bride. The bride’s niece, Rhonda Barker was junior bridesmaid. Groomsmen were Brad Nangle and the bridegroom’s cousin, Rick Blacker, Eric Barker nephew of the bride was junior groomsman. Serving as ushers were brothers of the bride, Ronald Barker of New Richmond and Rick, Thomas and David Barker. Flower girls were nieces of the couple, Amy Barker of New Richmond and Katie Lyman and ring bearer was Curtis Barker, nephew of the bride.
