Re: Crawfordsville Imprints (1821-1848)

It's interesting to note, that of the known printings from Crawfordsville during this period (excluding newspapers), all but 7 are from Wabash College. The 7 are: Baptists (4), Land Office (1), Presbyterian (1) & a book of Farriery by Willis Hughs (1)

Of the known newspapers 2 of the 121 are from Wabash College and of the known imprints (quantity known, not titles known) 382 of the 396 are from Wabash College. I haven't broken down the 180 letters, but I suspect 40% are from Wabash College (the majority being correspondence from Hovey) and the remaining 60% are from Crawfordsville area residence.

Aside from the history printed in the Beckwith / Bowen books, there are approximately 120 letters from / about area citizens known during the first 25 years of Crawfordsville's history (excluding Wabash College). Of them, 5 are from the 1820s, 54 are from the 1830s & 61 are from the 1840s.
