Crawfordsville Ia March 8th 1833.

Sir

I have recently received yours
of Nov. 26, 1832. On the subject of the
Fithian Claim against William Baird.
I now reside at this place 150 miles from
Charlestown, which fact accounts for my
not receiving your letter sooner.
On the subject of receiving the judgment
Against Baird in the name of the the
?, I must tell
You the judgment is entered in favor
of Fithian as an individual.
The note on which the judgment is founded were
made payable to him as adv.
He had a right therefore to sue in his
fiduciary on individual character at his
election. To prevent the ? Of making
protest of letter of administrators, I brought
the suit in his individual character.
I have ? Letter of administrators

I am at a distance from Salem -
where the judgment was rendered - but
resign to attend to the case as formerly,
when I resided in the adjoining county; whether
in person or by proxy - through the agency
of other attorneys.

Yours ty

Isaac Naylor
